My JOURNEY

How a Reishi in my backyard changed everything.

Stepping away from a demanding corporate life made me realise how much my physical and mental health had deteriorated. My blood pressure was on the verge of becoming chronic. I would be out of breath after a flight of stairs. There were energy crashes after meals. I struggled to concentrate at work and then struggled to switch off when work ended.

  • Getting into sleep is not the problem. Getting into deep, restorative sleep is.

  • Doctors recommended lifelong medication, but I wanted to address the root cause, not just the symptoms. Around that time, I discovered a glowing Reishi mushroom in my backyard—a moment that sparked deep research and led me to train at the Directorate of Mushroom Research, Solan, under leading scientists in the field.

  • I experimented first on myself. After my very first experience with Reishi, I rediscovered what deep, carefree sleep actually feels like. Lion’s Mane brought back focus. Cordyceps restored stamina and helped me breathe through Delhi’s worst pollution months.
